Worship of the Heart 25 th August 2011 Month of Ramadan is so blessed that we can Alhamdulilah are able to stay up in the night,this is a barakah for all creations.This is an invitation to everyone to all creations to grab this opportunity to repent,ask forgiveness and get themselves removed from he'll fire..every Ibadah u do never feel that u did enough,do not calculate with Allah swt, it should be endless,u should feel more humble. ( رَبَّنَا تَقَبَّلْ مِنَّا إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ السَّمِيْعُ الْعَلِيمُ Rabbana Taqaball minna innaka Antas Sami ul Aleem. (2:127). We are all fuqqarra,Allah is the most rich, so we are giving the Ibadah to most rich who does not need anything from us, May Allah grant us ikhlaas. Worship of the heart is more important than the worship of the limbs!ibaadaat Al qulub ,worship of theheart being studied this year are not obligatory acts of worship,but these are of higher degree,they elevate your ranks,they are much loved by Allah swt. After studying Ridhaaa, Shukar and TAFAKKUR ,and the one that we will be studiying today is the best as we will be closer to Allah.such a person who has this Ibadah,will be in peace in dunya and they will be the first ones to enter paradise without reckoning , wout being questioned. IBADAT AL TAWAKKUL the first ones to enter paradise are the ones who have tawakkul ,also they will be part of the 70,000 ppl who will enter paradise wout reckoning. Such ppl will not have any types of punishment, no crossing the siraat, no questioning,first ones to enter paradise.prophet saws said their face will be like shams on DOJ.their levels will be highly elevated. Make dua: Ya Rabbi helP me to be among them. At Tawakkul is half of deen said Ibn Qayyim AdDeen Islaam : two parts 1.at Tawakkul: rely on Allah swt, seek Allahs Help.this comes only from TAFAKKUR . 2.al Inaabaa: means Ibadaah which is continuously,going back always to worship,after eating you think of Allah ,after every deed,you will worship Allah.you cannot have Inaabaa until you have at tawakul. because of the TAFAKKUR the ulemas produce more knowledge based on their pondering,for egs ibn Qayyim got this principle by pondering upon theayaat iyaaakaa naabudu wa iyaakaaa nas taeen,istiannaa,seeking help in everything ,you need to return always to Allah swt.Also ibn Qayyim said that if everyone of us has tawakkul in Allah,that is have reliance in Allah always,for egs If Allah commands us to remove the mountains and if we have tawakkul in Allah, Allah will make it happen. Linguistically the meaning in language :Tawakkul means to delegate someone to do the job as I cannot do it. But tawaakkul in religion means ? In our life these days we need tawakkul in life,as there are too many responsibilities and more stress, but if we gain knowledge of tawakkul then we will be stress free.this is an action of the heart ,we need to totally rely on Allah swt in all our matters regarding dunya and aakhiraah. We need to have tawakkul to avert any harm affecting you,for egs u r concerned about ur sickness or u r afraid of unseen circumstances.from all matters of duniya and deen.reliance completely on Allah. Second part is taking the means :Everyone of us has different issues,stress is related to heart,rely totally on Allah,if there are jobs to do let ur limbs do,but rest leave it on Allah. So Tawakkul has two parts,rely on Allah and take the means to do the job. Do not deviate, as some ppl become extreme for egs they were going on ling journey abut did not carry provisions, they said of. Allah wants He will feed us, this is wrong! There are two extremes,some ppl take the means and the heart is attached to the means, heart is relying on means for egs some ppl working in office and in the same time their heart is attached to the work,they think that they get provisions due to their job.similarly doctor and medicine these are means,some ppl get their hearts attached to the means to the doctor.some ppl depend only on the medicine or rely only on doctor.this is one extreme.For egs attached to mobiles, sometimes we panic if family member forgets to carry mobile, this is wrong as u r attaching and relying to it.use the technology but do not rely on it,the more we have technology the more we are relying in it! The place of Allah is in the Heart, we should love HIM the most,make istianaa in HIM,fear ,HIM,hope from HIM.whenever Allah said this is good for u ,the more to do any obligatory then it is best for you. Allah feels jealous ( perfect attribute for Allah ) if HE sees love of someone else in the heart of a momeeeneen.( inna Allah yaghar alla qalb al cumin. The other extreme is that they r totally relaxed by not taking the means. Tawakkul Allah is the middle path,seeratul mustaqeem is very tough,we need to take the means and also rely on Allah,this is a big jihad! HOW TO MAKE MY HEART DEPEND ONLY ON ALLAH AND NOT THE MEANS: Why we are depending only on mobile to do it, this is as we have trust in the mobile.the more you have trust in anything then The more u trust the more u depend.for egs some one has a case in court,a lawyer who is more experienced then u have more trust in him then you will rely on him.another example of how to take care of a baby,,, We need to trust Allah,more yaqeen in Allah,the more knowledge about Allah will make you trust more in Allah, rely mor in Allah with yaqeen. Some of Allah s names will help you in tawakkul.for egs in Quran Allah said have tawakkul on the one who is everliving and never dies! Rely on Allah who is Al Hayy, never dies, never is HE absent from you!other names of Allah which will help you increase your tawakkul.Allahs name VAKEEL.you will depend on HIM to do everything,Tawqeel Aam, sponspor Allah to do all ur tasks,HE has knowledge what suits you,HE is VAKEEL,and HE is Al Hayy.HE is ALl seer ,all listener and witnesses everything,w and HE is king of all kings Aya Imraan verse 26: قُلِ اللَّهُمَّ مَالِكَ الْمُلْكِ تُؤْتِي الْمُلْكَ مَن تَشَاءُ وَتَنزِعُ الْمُلْكَ مِمَّن تَشَاءُ وَتُعِزُّ مَن تَشَاءُ وَتُذِلُّ مَن تَشَاءُ بِيَدِكَ الْخَيْرُ إِنَّكَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ Say: O Allah, Master of the Kingdom! Thou givest the kingdom to whomsoever Thou pleasest and takest away the kingdom from whomsoever Thou pleasest, and Thou exaltest whom Thou pleasest and abasest whom Thou pleasest in Thine hand is the good; surety, Thou hast power over all things. If you know this verse you will realize that He is the master of the kingdom,the VAKEEL knows everything,HE is able to do everything,The VAKEEL ,then you rely on everything only on Allah! For egs Ayatal Kursi : Some ppl rely too much on ayatul kursi ,depending as though it will keep u protected but this is wrong,as this is only a means Aya 42 Surah Anbiyaah Who is the one who will protect u besides Allah! It is sun natal Fi qawm, anything that you put ur trust in ppl ,in doctors, in family members, then you will find the person will fail you.where is the proble? Attachment!they should have tawakkul only on Allah.We need to preserve the ppl from failing around us by having tawakkul.Allah will show the failures of such a person as Allah teaches us to rely only on Hiim.the relationship will fail, so everything depends only on Allah For egs a Arabic teacher will fail to teach ur child as u will rely only on Allah. It is easy for ppl to depend on means as they can see them but the pp, of Allah will actually see the source behind the means. Scholar Haatim bin Assam method of his tawakkul: who was fa I attain to the tawakkul by four points: 1) I knew that my provision will not be eaten by anyone except by me, so my heart was at peace. 2)I knew that my job no one can do it ,so I m busy doing it for egs my prayer,my duaa,I know have to perfect it ,no one can do it so 3)death is waiting for me so I do everything prepared my provision to meet Allah swt. 4)I knew that Allah sees me,witnesses me so I feel shy from doing any sin. fruits of Tawakkul 1-enter paradise wout reckoning and punishment 2- Allah is self sufficient for youm( talaq:3) 3-all provisions will come to u: Hadith : if you rely on Allah like the birds then Allah will provide you they way Allah provides the birds. The life of birds animals stress free,they are praising Allah . 4- protects and guards you from the psychological issues,heart will be strong,the more tawakkul will give inner strength.like Ibrahim ale Salam had so much stress,they wanted to thro him in fire,Gabriel came to help but Ibrahim ale Salam said that only Allah is His VAKEEL. Also bibi Haajar was left in the jungle with a baby,but she asked if Allah has commanded you,then Allah will take care of us. We should pray ya rabbi you will take care of us( the more means around us means that we will have less tawakkul,less reliance, more tests) when u see more means then remember that it is a test, check if u r relying on the means or in Allah swt. Ghazwat al bad Ar no means but there was reliance in aAllah. Everything is possible with tawakkul but if you have all the means without tawakkul then u will fail . 5-protect from shaytaan if you rely in Allah swt.( Nahl:99) If you have reliance in Allah then no whispers of shaytan will affect you.when you take Allah as your guardian ,then Allah will fulfill HIS promise. Story narrated by Omar Al khattab: A pregnant wife who was due to deliver but her husband had to leave for business, so he said by putting his hand on the stomach and said that I leave u in Allah's custody.the mother died before delivery,then the husband saw a smoke from the grave,the baby was delivered alive ,a karamaah,miracle.Allah protects if you have tawakkul. Another story: Husband was very poor ,no means to eat,so she made duaa then she saws her ove.n baking bread . May Allah swt make us from the mutawaqaleen. Recap: how to be shakkarra in everything small and big.
Prophet saws said that Ifd you are not grateful with small thing then you will not be grateful when u have the big things,how to be shakkarra,
By purifying ur heart from sins of heart like jealously,taqabbur.
Make ur heart alive by remembrance of Allah, by seeing the bounties of Allah, the bestower,read Quran
Attribute the blessing to Allah and not on urself.Allah will test u ,she someone praises ur ability then how do u react,do not attribute the blessings to any means.
If u r grateful ,it should reflect on ur tongue by :
1)counting AllAhs blessings generally.
2)or by praising Allah by one particular blessing.
Hadith : a group of men gathered and just sat pondering upon their blessings,especially how they were guided to Islam ; prophet saws passed by this group of men and asked them what they were doing,so the said they were thinking about their blessings.prophet saws again asked are u sure this is why u have gathered, they re affirmed,so prophet saws said that because of their pondering and appreciating their blessings Allah has forgiven their sins!
Aya 11 sura dhuhaa
Any blessing of Allah we need to talk about it!we need to remember Allahs blessing!
In order to be shakkarr,we need to guard our self from shaytaan,fromppl and other such obstacles.
For egs ,shaytaan whispers and shows u things which you don't have,or u will count the things she doesn have and forget the blessings that they have leading to depression.
This comes not only from shaytan but also from the companions, they can make u from the ungrateful ones.
For egs: we know kids are a blessing , we are grateful to Allah.but pp, when they see a woman with seven kids,also breast feeding a baby and also pregnant,ppl come saying oh poor lady ! This is wrong as u r teaming with shaytan to depress this woman and cause her depression!so companions can also b a cause for being ungrateful,shayaateen from ppl.shayaateen al ins worse than shayaateen al jinn, as we can see their influence more.so prophet saws always encouraged to have good companion to save from evil ,save ur Eemaan.
Levels of Shukar ( darjaat as Shukar )
Shukar in heart:
Shukar Fi lisaan :: we need to talk about our gratitude to Allah
Shukar with limbs : how, by worshipping Allah swt,we need to use the blessing as a bridge towards Allah's pleasure.Allah has given health, good life, children, so I will use my lisaan,tongue and use my limbs to be grateful to Allah. We need to use in doing ibadaata.do not use the blessing in committing a sin, for egs eyes ,do not watch bad movies as I am using the blessing to commit a sin by being ungrateful to Allah swt.ears listening to music.
In order to complete Shukar I must worship Allah to show my gratitude.I will use the blessing to worship Allah,

Look at the fast moving materialistic life,so many things we need to think about it, this ibaadaah qalbiya will give you rest ,peace of mind and u will enjoy this Ibaadah, the Moment u practice it.majority of ppl left it ,this Ibadaat is Ibadaah of anbiyaa. Because of this Ibaaadaah u will know more about ur creator and it will renew ur heart, soul, all your brain cells. What is this Ibadaah? At tafakurr like meditation.
This is one of the action of the heart and it will give you light thru out the day,it is one of the highest form of worship of the heart.the salaf said that if u have takafur it is better than qiyaam al Layl, another scholar said that if the ppl have this takafur an Naas, they think about Allah's greatness and majesty then they will never disobey Allah,it is better than q iyam al Layl as the faith will increase .this is one of the means to increase ur faith which will give u Taqwaa and u will never disobey Allah swt, u will be one of the mutaqee.
So u will have the wisdom, Hikmah,this is a Nyaamaah from Allah.one of the ways to have wisdom is if you have takafur.
Takafur in Allah swt:
One of the way to do TAKAFUR IS by pondering upon Allah's names and attributes.for egs I learn about Allah's name Al Muhsin, then whenever any situation happens to u then u remember the names of Allah.then u will recognize istadraaj,when u see a small blessing then u will be grateful to Allah swt then u will see that this bless g will be increased.we should try and practise ibaadaat al takkafurrrr in pondering about Allah.this can be done even by being in groups of ppl, how Allah increases me in my guidance ,this Worship/action is in heart .
Khalaq Allah: Allah's creations
For egs ,ppl living with nature appreciate Allah 's blessings more than us who live in concrete jungle.Allaah is the originator of the heavens and earth.
How to ponder upon Allahs creations:
Look at anything that Allah has created ,always remember when Allah created anything, HE initiated the creation,.for egs humans,ppl are copying as robots, or ppl copying the making of camera similar to the action of the eyes.
When Allah creates the khalq al insaan, Wout anything,but human beings takes means to create anything.
Allah creates anything wout changes without alterations but human beings create mobile with diff versions, diff models but Allah never changes human beings.
No finger prints match, no human faces same, not even the nature resemble,there is no repetition. Allah's creation , imagine how everything is perfect now,then how would HIS creation of paradise.
Also we never get bored with Allahs creations,trees are the same but we do not get bored.Allah creates big thing from small,birds from egg, trees from seed.
Human beings create small mobile in big factory.
Every creation of Allah is perfect and rightly placed,ponder upon the colors of flowers in desert or in a lush green garden ,subhanallah!
at Tafakkur An Nafs : ( pondering on your desires)
Think about yourself in quiet moments,think about ur sins, try to improve urself,sit with urself, don't be surrounded by ppl 24 hrs then when will u get time for takafffur, we need to take some time out, be truthful, check if u r wrong how u should correct urself.For egs I am very aggressive, I m hasty,I am sharp or I am coward,always have takaffurr, which can be done anytime.do this when u don't have ppl around u.this is in order to improve my nafs.
takaffurr ill a Al Aakhirah;
This is one degree higher which the salaf used to have it,which is about thinking about aakhiraah.no one has seen aakhiraah so how will we have takaffur al aakhiraah.if they see anything in life it reminded them of aakhiraah.once they were sitting,then suddenly the lights turned off, then after sometime when . The lights were on thesalaf was found crying, he said that I remembered the darkness in the grave .
Story from Salafff:
One of the salaf asked the other who was contemplating deeply,what he was pondering about,the other salaf said about Day of Judgement ( DOJ) ,the sequence of reckoning,accounting and that now he had reached as far as the bridge the siraat,this is how they used to have takafur, this is ibaadaah. Imagining urself that u will be in that situation.
Also once a salaf saw a furnace and he imagined about the naar.
If you see anything nice in. Life make it a point to ponder on aakhiraah, jannah.this is very beloved to Allah.may Allah swt make us from the ones who are from the mutakaffareenn.

Appreciate the blessings especially that you are part of the majlis for the sake of Allah, so that Allah will allow it's intercession for u on DOJ.focus on the ibaadas by focusing on ur heart.We should not have any regrets later that we did not pray enough ,there is still time,there are the last ten nights of Ramadan where u can hope for forgiveness .
Hadith of Aaisha RA:
As soon as the last ten nights would begin, prophet saws used to make these nights alive"ahyall Layl", alive with his Ibadah.and ahyall laylla and he would also make his entire family to be up in these nights so that they could benefit as well.Hazrat Aaisha said that he used to tighten his waist belt,this means he would prepare well for his Ibadah.
Lessons learnt from this hadith :So we must wake our family, first by explaining to them the excellence of these nights.last ten nights take a break from social life, keep it slow ,focus only on Ibadah.do qiyaam, make dua,increase ur ibaadaat, switch between your ibadahs, read Quran, read tafseer,salah, authentic duas. Don't be confident upon ur ibadas, but by the help of Allah ,you can establish night prayer, Allah will give barakah in ur time.these ten nights with Allah's help, make us from those who are the best worshippers.
What is the sunnah of the last ten nights?
As prophet saws wanted to seek the laylatal Qadar,he would look for the night of Qadar in the last ten nights.prophet saws never mentioned when is the night of qadr,he said that we need to seek it ESP in the last odd nights.
Importance of laylatul al qadr:
Allah swt revealed the entire whole Quran to the Samaawaat al duniya from lohe Mahfouz on laylatl qadr.from here it was revealed to prophet pbuh in parts by Gabreil ale salaam.
Hadith:The one who busied himself in establishing the night of qadr with hope , Allah swt will expiate all his sins .
Prophet saws said for those ppl who even after all these chances are not taking benefit of this blessed month and are neglecting their chances of getting forgiveness, those are the deprived ones.the one who loses the laylatulqadar is in great loss, as the one who prays on the night of decree it is as though he worshipped for 84 years.
Night of lay,atal qadr:the decree of one year will be shown to all the angels.the names of ppl who will die the coming year etc. From the preserved tablets it will be shown to the angels, about who will die,mikaeel will be informed when there will be rain during which part of the coming year etc
Best Dua for the last ten nights as taught by our Prophet (pbuh):
Allahumma innaka 'afuwwun kareemun tuhibbul 'afwa fa'fu 'annee.
"O Allah , indeed You are the Pardoner, the Most Generous, and You love to pardon, so pardon me".( Tirmidhi 5/534)
Imagine your scale after worshipping for 84 years of Ibadah,by praying on the night of decree.the angels descend on the earth, the earth will be filled with angels,the mercies will descend on the earth ,there will be peace until dawn,this night will be free from any evil,there will be sign for believers who wake up every night,there will be peace and tranquility, u will taste the delight of worhip,u wil, enjoy ur ibaadaas.
Especially the ones living in desert,can feel as though there is a light in earth, the earth will appear illuminated,there will be no wind ,peaceful atmosphere, after the night, the sun will be raised wout any rays,
Allahu maa inni asalulakkaa balaaghnaa laylatal Qadar.
We should feel grateful to Allah that He out of His mercy has given us an opportunity to seek His forgiveness,great blessing from Allah swt.thru out the year Allah has given us a varied forms of Ibadah ,our religion is not constant ,keeps changing .after Ramadan, we will keep the fast of shawwwal, then we will wait for Haj etc.

Everyday of Ramadan should increase ur faith,with every passing day ,as ur ibaadaat should increase with Taraweeh etc also ask Allah to make you to be ones who remember Allah do with husnikaa ibadidika,prepare ur self for the last ten nights of Ramadan.
Stories of the Quran and it's importance :
Qisasa al quraan ( diff things in the stories, there is morals ,lessons,commands,ahkaam)
Quraan is a unique and different book filled with stories which is diff from other books.Quran describes diff stories:
Al Imraan Aya 62
Allah describes that in the story you will find the Haq.
Surah Yusuf Aya 3
The best stories among any story u read, Allah describes as the best story.
So it is not allowed to search other books so look for more details ,but prophet saws forbade us to do something like this.as this is what israaeeliyaat do it.once Hazrat Omar came to prophet saws and said that he found some details from other olden books,but prophet saws was very upset and forbade him to ever refer to other books.
The stories in Quran is mentioned as there is a miracle behind the story itself and it is with Hikmah.
today we will discuss two stories in which a group of ppl were from shakireen the other were complete opposite.Allah starts the story in Saba about Dawood ale Salam .
Surah Saba Aya 1
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ وَهُوَ الْحَكِيمُ الْخَبِيرُ
(All) praise is due to Allah, Whose is what is in the heavens and what is in the earth, and to Him is due (all) praise in the hereafter; and He is the Wise, the Aware.
Allah starts the story with praises for Him as to him belongs the heavens n earth.we need to bgrateful to Allah .
say Aya from ten to thirteen
وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَا دَاوُودَ مِنَّا فَضْلًا يَا جِبَالُ أَوِّبِي مَعَهُ وَالطَّيْرَ وَأَلَنَّا لَهُ الْحَدِيدَ
And certainly We gave to Dawood excellence from Us: O mountains! sing praises with him, and the birds; and We made the iron pliant to him,
يَعْمَلُونَ لَهُ مَا يَشَاءُ مِن مَّحَارِيبَ وَتَمَاثِيلَ وَجِفَانٍ كَالْجَوَابِ وَقُدُورٍ رَّاسِيَاتٍ اعْمَلُوا آلَ دَاوُودَ شُكْرًا وَقَلِيلٌ مِّنْ عِبَادِيَ الشَّكُورُ
They made for him what he pleased of fortresses and images, and bowls (large) as watering-troughs and cooking-pots that will not move from their place; give thanks, O family of Dawood! and very few of My servants are grateful.
Story of details in Surah:
Indeed We gave Daoud ale salaam, from Allah , fadhalaa,bounty, something that no one else was given or had it.what is fadhalaa :is beneficial knowledge ,Amal al Saliheen, or bounties of duniya.
The first fadhalaa Allah blessed daud ale Salam is beautiful voice, so He used to praise and glorify Allah swt day and night.so everything around him, whoever hears his voice who enjoyed his recitation and even the mountain,Jibaal ,a rock was getting affected bu his recitation, the Jibaal also praise Allah.so daud ale Salam not only glorified but he encouraged others to praise Allah swt.also the birds were singing and enjoying the recitation.
Also Allah gave him the power and strength to mould iron,hadid submitted itself to daud ale salams hands.so those days they used to wage wars so they needed the armor ,,so dawood ale Salam could make the best balanced coat of iron.
Allah swt blessed daud ale Salam with the above and then Allah said to amallu saliva which means that use your intelligence and power to do more Ibadaat to Allah.
Moral: this indicates that in order to be grateful to Allah we need to do more n more good deeds,we just should not say Shukar but use this blessing to do good deed.this is to show gratitude eto Allah swt,Allah is all seer.
As reward for Dawood ale Salam, Allah blessed him with a son Sulaiman, who was a KIng prophet.no body had a kingdom liked Sulaiman ale salams.
Aya 35 suraah saad
He asked Allah swt to grant him a kingdom that nobody had.
In many centuries back ,ppl used to travel in horses,donkeys and would take months to reach from onw place to theother.so Allah made the wind to be in servitude to Sulaiman ale salaam.Allah gave Sulaiman ale Salam the permission to do whatever he wills,the wind would follow sulaimans instructions,and that wind could carry Sulaiman wherever he wanted.the wind Reeh,would carry him in the morning ,to a place which would normally take a month and bring him back by evening which would have taken another month.so a journey which would take two months normally Sulaiman ale Salam would make it within a day.
Sulaiman ale salaam used to make pure copper into liquid,flowing copper with his inetlligence so it could be filled in diff vessels.
Sulaiman ale salaam was given another exceptional gift which was that the jinns were his servants,from theJinns they used to be slaves to Sulaiman ale salaam with Allahs permission.there were all diff kinds of jinn but they were all serving Allah swt.the jinn had to obey him if they did not then they would be subjected to severe punishment by Allah swt.
Moral : Allah gave him wealth, power,authority ,intelligence ,kingdom all these are trials as a person can transgress but Sulaiman ale salaam never transgressed.
Allah can test with khair and shar, which one is difficult when Allah tests with khair as u may think Allah loves us ,but this is a test.Imagine if a lady suddenly gets a maid servant to serve he ,how her nosse goes up..
Allah gives u the blessing to check if your are from the shakireen,and if you are from the ones who are grateful then Allah will reward you with more.
Tall building like a fortress,statues of treess,bowls for eating,
Sulaiman ale salaam was diff so his food was diff from a normal human beings.the bowl which he used to eat was like a big lake,jawaaaab.the cooking pots were so huge that ppl used to climb with the ladder,Allah explains all of this in Quran ,that is the reason He gifted Him with jinn to work for him.
Allah swt said that Allah has given all these blessings to you so Dawood ale sallam must be grateful to Allah.the prophets and messengers have the greatest blessing but they are always from the shaakireen.

Opposite story, another civilization who were on the top,group of ppl who got Allahs blessings and how they dealt with it.
Aya 15 to Aya 19 Saba
This is qusaas Sabaa, a qabila called Saba ,name of one person was Saba, the importance of their place called maraib,their location was in south of Yemen.Allah blessed their location like an ayaah, like a miracle.during those times everyone spoke abouy maarib and thier place as Allah had gifted them.Allah bestowed them with two gardens and bet these gardens was sweet water flowing ,water thru the year.
Scholars say that they build a dam with flood gates and called it sabd maarid.
Due to this technique they had cool weather thru the year, land was fertile so lots of trees and lots of fruits,beautiful view amazing scenery,plenty of friuts,this was a blessing from Allah swt.
Allah swt favored them with these gardens ,they could buoy the fruits but Allah said that remember this is rizq from Allah swt.Allah said ,eat n enjoy but remember to thank b grateful to Allah.washquru,don't indulge too much to forget Allah ,do not attribute this to urself.must maintain the balance enjoy it but be grateful to Allah.
Also Allah says that everything in maraaib ,in the land everything is good,the land is good,weather is good,baladaa tayabbah,no pollution,also Allah promised them that if you are good and if you have gratitude then Allah said he would forgive them their sins ,so Allah promised them a good aakhirah,if they followed AllHs commands!
But how did they deal with Allah, they turned away from Allah.they thought they deserved it.aaeraaaad means turning away from Allah swt.
Moral : how we react when someone says u have smart kids,then u attribute it to urself ,this is turning away from Allah swt.Allah wants us ti busy ourselves with Allahs worship.
When should v increase the ibadat at times of ease or difficulty? Of course At tomes of ease.when Allah swt blessed you with niyaamaj,Allah wants u to be grateful yto Him.
But these ppl turned away,did not worship Allah,they attributed. It to themselves.
Lesson: today we see so many issues around us like divorces happening,children disrespectful ,issues with inlaws,friends problem.
Scholars say The source of all the problems all sickness is due to one reason ;
TURNING AWAY FROM ALLAH.
When a person has been blessed with Many things he needs to be grateful and worship Allah, but ppl turn away fromAllah and they get into mushkilaat.they face with a flood like situation as they have turned away from Allah swt.qaum Sabaa left Allahs religion ,forgot r about the bestower Who had given all the blessings. a kaafir only sees the blessings itself and just enjoys the blessing and thats it but a mow re en when he is blessed with a blessing, he sees the Source,every blessing reminds him of Allah swt.
The believer will immediately react when she receives the gift ,before opening she will say Alhamdulilah ,fadhal min Allah.
Allaah swt sent a torrent that destroyed their gardens,everything ,everything,as a punishment for them Allah replaced these tow gardens with opposite two gardens.from the worst type of plants, the taste is so bitter,unpleasant,there was no beauty in these plants.
Lesson: if we want to safeguard your blessings, ur house, ur children then always have the Shukar and increase ur good deeds to Allah swt.do ur obligations to show gratitude to Allah swt,Allah replaced the blessings with the punishments .the way of Allah that he deals with His creations will be same,with His creations.the sunnan of Allah will never change ,the way of Allah dealing with all His creations will be the same.the adhaab Alllah is shadeed,severe punishment.
This is how Allah punishes the ones who disbelieved,as they disregarded Allahs blessings.so imagine if a person turns away wout Shukar this is how Allah will deal with him.
Aya 18:
From Yemen to travel to shaam, Allah blessed Qaum Sabaa with the distance.in order to travel ,the towns were so closely connected that they never felt the distance.so ppl of Saba never needed to carry provisions, as these were closele interconnected.Also they would have security , they knew their journey very well feeling secured as Allah made it easy for them.
But whhat these ppl said that they wanted to experience travel ,so they asked Allah in their hearts that we want to feel the journey so make it longer.

فَقَالُوا رَبَّنَا بَاعِدْ بَيْنَ أَسْفَارِنَا وَظَلَمُوا أَنفُسَهُمْ فَجَعَلْنَاهُمْ أَحَادِيثَ وَمَزَّقْنَاهُمْ كُلَّ مُمَزَّقٍ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّكُلِّ صَبَّارٍ شَكُورٍ
And they said: O our Lord! make spaces to be longer between our journeys; and they were unjust to themselves so We made them stories and scattered them with an utter scattering; most surely there are signs in this for every patient, grateful one
Lesson : some ppl say. That lives r so complicated these days wz mobiles, computers,I m so disturbed, I wish we had peace like olden times,like before no mobiles: this is also called batar, a sickness,like qaum Sabaa like Banu Israel..As Allah has given a blessing ,exactly tailoring,better than life before,but ppl are being ungrateful.When Allah gave u something better do not complain.
Look into ur life,sometimes Alla
Everyday of Ramadan should increase ur faith,with every passing day ,as ur ibaadaat should increase with Taraweeh etc also ask Allah to make you to be ones who remember Allah do with husnikaa ibadidika,prepare ur self for the last ten nights of Ramadan.
Stories of the Quran and it's importance :
Qisasa al quraan ( diff things in the stories, there is morals ,lessons,commands,ahkaam)
Quraan is a unique and different book filled with stories which is diff from other books.Quran describes diff stories:
Al Imraan Aya 62
Allah describes that in the story you will find the Haq.
Surah Yusuf Aya 3
The best stories among any story u read, Allah describes as the best story.
So it is not allowed to search other books so look for more details ,but prophet saws forbade us to do something like this.as this is what israaeeliyaat do it.once Hazrat Omar came to prophet saws and said that he found some details from other olden books,but prophet saws was very upset and forbade him to ever refer to other books.
The stories in Quran is mentioned as there is a miracle behind the story itself and it is with Hikmah.
today we will discuss two stories in which a group of ppl were from shakireen the other were complete opposite.Allah starts the story in Saba about Dawood ale Salam .
Surah Saba Aya 1
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ وَهُوَ الْحَكِيمُ الْخَبِيرُ
(All) praise is due to Allah, Whose is what is in the heavens and what is in the earth, and to Him is due (all) praise in the hereafter; and He is the Wise, the Aware.
Allah starts the story with praises for Him as to him belongs the heavens n earth.we need to bgrateful to Allah .
say Aya from ten to thirteen
وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَا دَاوُودَ مِنَّا فَضْلًا يَا جِبَالُ أَوِّبِي مَعَهُ وَالطَّيْرَ وَأَلَنَّا لَهُ الْحَدِيدَ
And certainly We gave to Dawood excellence from Us: O mountains! sing praises with him, and the birds; and We made the iron pliant to him,
يَعْمَلُونَ لَهُ مَا يَشَاءُ مِن مَّحَارِيبَ وَتَمَاثِيلَ وَجِفَانٍ كَالْجَوَابِ وَقُدُورٍ رَّاسِيَاتٍ اعْمَلُوا آلَ دَاوُودَ شُكْرًا وَقَلِيلٌ مِّنْ عِبَادِيَ الشَّكُورُ
They made for him what he pleased of fortresses and images, and bowls (large) as watering-troughs and cooking-pots that will not move from their place; give thanks, O family of Dawood! and very few of My servants are grateful.
Story of details in Surah:
Indeed We gave Daoud ale salaam, from Allah , fadhalaa,bounty, something that no one else was given or had it.what is fadhalaa :is beneficial knowledge ,Amal al Saliheen, or bounties of duniya.
The first fadhalaa Allah blessed daud ale Salam is beautiful voice, so He used to praise and glorify Allah swt day and night.so everything around him, whoever hears his voice who enjoyed his recitation and even the mountain,Jibaal ,a rock was getting affected bu his recitation, the Jibaal also praise Allah.so daud ale Salam not only glorified but he encouraged others to praise Allah swt.also the birds were singing and enjoying the recitation.
Also Allah gave him the power and strength to mould iron,hadid submitted itself to daud ale salams hands.so those days they used to wage wars so they needed the armor ,,so dawood ale Salam could make the best balanced coat of iron.
Allah swt blessed daud ale Salam with the above and then Allah said to amallu saliva which means that use your intelligence and power to do more Ibadaat to Allah.
Moral: this indicates that in order to be grateful to Allah we need to do more n more good deeds,we just should not say Shukar but use this blessing to do good deed.this is to show gratitude eto Allah swt,Allah is all seer.
As reward for Dawood ale Salam, Allah blessed him with a son Sulaiman, who was a KIng prophet.no body had a kingdom liked Sulaiman ale salams.
Aya 35 suraah saad
He asked Allah swt to grant him a kingdom that nobody had.
In many centuries back ,ppl used to travel in horses,donkeys and would take months to reach from onw place to theother.so Allah made the wind to be in servitude to Sulaiman ale salaam.Allah gave Sulaiman ale Salam the permission to do whatever he wills,the wind would follow sulaimans instructions,and that wind could carry Sulaiman wherever he wanted.the wind Reeh,would carry him in the morning ,to a place which would normally take a month and bring him back by evening which would have taken another month.so a journey which would take two months normally Sulaiman ale Salam would make it within a day.
Sulaiman ale salaam used to make pure copper into liquid,flowing copper with his inetlligence so it could be filled in diff vessels.
Sulaiman ale salaam was given another exceptional gift which was that the jinns were his servants,from theJinns they used to be slaves to Sulaiman ale salaam with Allahs permission.there were all diff kinds of jinn but they were all serving Allah swt.the jinn had to obey him if they did not then they would be subjected to severe punishment by Allah swt.
Moral : Allah gave him wealth, power,authority ,intelligence ,kingdom all these are trials as a person can transgress but Sulaiman ale salaam never transgressed.
Allah can test with khair and shar, which one is difficult when Allah tests with khair as u may think Allah loves us ,but this is a test.Imagine if a lady suddenly gets a maid servant to serve he ,how her nosse goes up..
Allah gives u the blessing to check if your are from the shakireen,and if you are from the ones who are grateful then Allah will reward you with more.
Tall building like a fortress,statues of treess,bowls for eating,
Sulaiman ale salaam was diff so his food was diff from a normal human beings.the bowl which he used to eat was like a big lake,jawaaaab.the cooking pots were so huge that ppl used to climb with the ladder,Allah explains all of this in Quran ,that is the reason He gifted Him with jinn to work for him.
Allah swt said that Allah has given all these blessings to you so Dawood ale sallam must be grateful to Allah.the prophets and messengers have the greatest blessing but they are always from the shaakireen.

Opposite story, another civilization who were on the top,group of ppl who got Allahs blessings and how they dealt with it.
Aya 15 to Aya 19 Saba
This is qusaas Sabaa, a qabila called Saba ,name of one person was Saba, the importance of their place called maraib,their location was in south of Yemen.Allah blessed their location like an ayaah, like a miracle.during those times everyone spoke abouy maarib and thier place as Allah had gifted them.Allah bestowed them with two gardens and bet these gardens was sweet water flowing ,water thru the year.
Scholars say that they build a dam with flood gates and called it sabd maarid.
Due to this technique they had cool weather thru the year, land was fertile so lots of trees and lots of fruits,beautiful view amazing scenery,plenty of friuts,this was a blessing from Allah swt.
Allah swt favored them with these gardens ,they could buoy the fruits but Allah said that remember this is rizq from Allah swt.Allah said ,eat n enjoy but remember to thank b grateful to Allah.washquru,don't indulge too much to forget Allah ,do not attribute this to urself.must maintain the balance enjoy it but be grateful to Allah.
Also Allah says that everything in maraaib ,in the land everything is good,the land is good,weather is good,baladaa tayabbah,no pollution,also Allah promised them that if you are good and if you have gratitude then Allah said he would forgive them their sins ,so Allah promised them a good aakhirah,if they followed AllHs commands!
But how did they deal with Allah, they turned away from Allah.they thought they deserved it.aaeraaaad means turning away from Allah swt.
Moral : how we react when someone says u have smart kids,then u attribute it to urself ,this is turning away from Allah swt.Allah wants us ti busy ourselves with Allahs worship.
When should v increase the ibadat at times of ease or difficulty? Of course At tomes of ease.when Allah swt blessed you with niyaamaj,Allah wants u to be grateful yto Him.
But these ppl turned away,did not worship Allah,they attributed. It to themselves.
Lesson: today we see so many issues around us like divorces happening,children disrespectful ,issues with inlaws,friends problem.
Scholars say The source of all the problems all sickness is due to one reason ;
TURNING AWAY FROM ALLAH.
When a person has been blessed with Many things he needs to be grateful and worship Allah, but ppl turn away fromAllah and they get into mushkilaat.they face with a flood like situation as they have turned away from Allah swt.qaum Sabaa left Allahs religion ,forgot r about the bestower Who had given all the blessings. a kaafir only sees the blessings itself and just enjoys the blessing and thats it but a mow re en when he is blessed with a blessing, he sees the Source,every blessing reminds him of Allah swt.
The believer will immediately react when she receives the gift ,before opening she will say Alhamdulilah ,fadhal min Allah.
Allaah swt sent a torrent that destroyed their gardens,everything ,everything,as a punishment for them Allah replaced these tow gardens with opposite two gardens.from the worst type of plants, the taste is so bitter,unpleasant,there was no beauty in these plants.
Lesson: if we want to safeguard your blessings, ur house, ur children then always have the Shukar and increase ur good deeds to Allah swt.do ur obligations to show gratitude to Allah swt,Allah replaced the blessings with the punishments .the way of Allah that he deals with His creations will be same,with His creations.the sunnan of Allah will never change ,the way of Allah dealing with all His creations will be the same.the adhaab Alllah is shadeed,severe punishment.
This is how Allah punishes the ones who disbelieved,as they disregarded Allahs blessings.so imagine if a person turns away wout Shukar this is how Allah will deal with him.
Aya 18:
From Yemen to travel to shaam, Allah blessed Qaum Sabaa with the distance.in order to travel ,the towns were so closely connected that they never felt the distance.so ppl of Saba never needed to carry provisions, as these were closele interconnected.Also they would have security , they knew their journey very well feeling secured as Allah made it easy for them.
But whhat these ppl said that they wanted to experience travel ,so they asked Allah in their hearts that we want to feel the journey so make it longer.
Aya 19

Worship of The Heart ( 11.08.2011) (class # Two)
One third of Ramadan is over,today is the eleventh saum,so account yourself,ask yourself how much ibadat have I done,is Allah pleased with me,has Allah relieved me from Hell fire.so ask Allah swt to free us from hell fire.remember Allahs Ihsaan during this month,How Allah is Al Muhsin to His creations,He has given us this blessed month wout our asking,we will get freedom from hell fire, forgiveness maghfiraahh, we are seeking the pleasure of Allah swt Ridhaaa min Allah, Alhamdulilah hi Rabil Alameen is doing so much Ihsaan on us.
In ramadan there are different groups of ppl who are fasting, some are fasting just by abstaining from food and drink, some are fasting by refraining from committing any sin,then there is another group who are fasting from their heart,this is a higher degree of fasting..for egs due to the summer,these days we feel very thirsty during our fast, then what should your heart say, your heart should say that Allah I m fasting for you.Ibadat Al qalb.If our heart worships,then even if you are sleeping,ur heart in state of worship.so we must fill our hearts with worship of Allah.
Ridhaaa = as Sabar + saqeenaa
The least thing of Ridhaaa is saber,we have been commanded from Allah to have saber.but Ridhaaa is not obligatory but it is recommended.Allah always praised the ppl who have Ridhaaa ,so this is a form of Ibadaat which is of a higher level.

How to get this Ridhaaa , by knowing Allah swt, Al Muhsin, perfect in everything,then we will be content.
We can see around us ppl who are not pleased,why are these ppl not satisfied.due to the following reasons:
1) FORGETFULNESS :
They are forgetting Allah's blessings, they are focusing on what they don't have.for egs Allah has given you four healthy children but not ur own house so u are fretting about what u don't have.
When you have Ridhaaa always then you will always remember Allah's blessings whenever you see your heart getting annoyed or angry for something ur family member did not do, then immediately remember the other blessings, it will help in overcoming the negative emotions.
2) Musibaah:PEOPLE FOCUS ON THINGS THAT IS MISSING IN THEIR LIFE AND MAKE IT A GREAT MUSIBAH FOR THEMSELVES :
they make a great deal about the thing that they are missing in their life, they magnify the things that are missing as a huge matter of concern.one of the main reason is the culture and environment, this is a great factor that causes displeasure.For egs daughters wedding has to be done in this custom or that ritual as this is how we have been doing since our forefathers.so environment is a great influence on ppl leading them to be displeased and dissatisfied.
3)GREEDY :
Sometimes ppl want bigger house or bigger cars , as they get greedy! Ladies want their husbands to be perfect .or they want what is there in friends house.
Story of 99 :once in the olden days there was a king who was very unhappy,although he had everything in His kingdom.once his minister asked him why was he sad.the king explained that reason was his slave, a poor worker who always seemed happy and cheerful,the king wondered how could this person be so content and happy so that made him sad.the minister asked the king to give him 99 dinars and the minister kept the dinar outside the poor workers house.when the poor worker found that money he was so happy as he had never seen so much money in his life,then he made his family members count the money,they said it is 99 dinars,he said it cannot be it has to be hundred ,no one can give 99 may b the 1 dh has fallen outside.so he searched the entire night for one dh and cud not find it,so he was very sad,the next morning the king asked him why he was sad,so he relayed his story of 99 dh! So u see Greed is a big reason for misery, we must stay away from it.
4) IGNORANCE:
Sometimes in life we despair when we don't get what seems as a better opportunity for us,but we should not be sad as We do not have much knowledge,Allah has full perfect knowledge and He decrees what is best for us.for egs ,Some ppl feel sad when the husband does not get higher position out of ignorance as they do not know what is good for them,Allah has the perfect knowledge.
5) DESIRE AL HAWWA:
Don't desire so much to the extent that your desires will direct you,will be the cause of your happiness n sadness.should not make ur desires to judge u.this is siffat of munafiqeen,they will be happy when they get and will be sad if they did not get.remember the last part of duaa istikhaara where u r asking Allah to judge what is best for me, you ask Allah to help u in ur decisions,this will make you pleased.
So how will you be in Ridhaaa by remembering ur blessings,not make a musibah on urself, don't be greedy,don't be ignorant,don't let desires judge you.
Benefits: evidence from two Hadith
1)Omar RAvsaid all good in having Ridhaaa,all khair,if u don't have Ridhaaa then you should have patience.
2) jannat Al Allah ud Duniya is in Ridhaaa.the jannah in dunya is when we attain the pleasure of Allah swt. You will have saqeena and Allah will be pleased with u,Allahs Ridhaaa will be achieved.

SHUKAR, GRATITUDE :
====================
Higher level ,more than Ridhaaa is Shukar,higher degree than Ridhaaa.Shukar is actually ibadat al qalb.Our goal should be to have As Shaqaaaraa ,in everything,every time,every moment.
Evidence from Quran
Aya 152 Surah Baqarah
فَاذْكُرُونِي أَذْكُرْكُمْ وَاشْكُرُوا لِي وَلَا تَكْفُرُونِ
Therefore remember Me, I will remember you, and be thankful to Me, and do not be ungrateful to Me.
ALLAH associated the Shukar with His remembrance,if you are not shaakireen then the person will be ungrateful..we should be filled with gratitude towards Allah swt always.
Surah Nisa Aya 147
مَّا يَفْعَلُ اللَّهُ بِعَذَابِكُمْ إِن شَكَرْتُمْ وَآمَنتُمْ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ شَاكِرًا عَلِيمًا
Why should Allah chastise you if you are grateful and believe? And Allah is the Multiplier of rewards, Knowing
Allah associated Shukar with believe, the more you have believe the more you will have Shukar.if human beings are ungrateful to Allah this means that they have less faith,then Allah will punish them.so Shukar is a barrier from Allahs anger.
Surah Luqman Aya 14
وَوَصَّيْنَا الْإِنسَانَ بِوَالِدَيْهِ حَمَلَتْهُ أُمُّهُ وَهْنًا عَلَىٰ وَهْنٍ وَفِصَالُهُ فِي عَامَيْنِ أَنِ اشْكُرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيْكَ إِلَيَّ الْمَصِيرُ
And We have enjoined man in respect of his parents-- his mother bears him with faintings upon faintings and his weaning takes two years-- saying: Be grateful to Me and to both your parents; to Me is the eventual coming.
Rights of Allah more than parents, first be grateful to Allah as eventually we have to return to Him.Subhanallah!
16: 78 Surah Nahal
وَاللَّهُ أَخْرَجَكُم مِّن بُطُونِ أُمَّهَاتِكُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ شَيْئًا وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُ السَّمْعَ وَالْأَبْصَارَ وَالْأَفْئِدَةَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ
And Allah has brought you forth from the wombs of your mothers-- you did not know anything-- and He gave you hearing and sight and hearts that you may give thanks.
When you are born u have knowledge, this is describing Allah's Ahsaan Al Aam on His creations.the main purpose of your creation is Shukar.
Sura Aaraf Aya 17
ثُمَّ لَآتِيَنَّهُم مِّن بَيْنِ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ وَعَنْ أَيْمَانِهِمْ وَعَن شَمَائِلِهِمْ وَلَا تَجِدُ أَكْثَرَهُمْ شَاكِرِينَ
Then I will certainly come to them from before them and from behind them, and from their right-hand side and from their left-hand side; and Thou shalt not find most of them thankful.
The shaytaan is the biggest enemy,he has a list of his plots to take them to hellfire ,one of his aim is to misguide you, another plot is to make human beings ungrateful.shaytan says he will attach human beings from every direction so that he can make them ungrateful to Allah swt.
Just few of Allahs slave are grateful, only the minority are the ones that are in gratitude .which means that majority of ppl are ungrateful .before DOJ prophet saws said that the believers will be like strangers or the odd ones as they will be in minority qalleeel.
Sometimes in life if you do not react in a situation,do not get angry are from the shaakireen,u will be called names, ppl will ridicule u call u mutawaa,or hijaabi,or oldie etc.
REWARDS OF A SHAAKIREEN :
SURAH ZUMAR AYA 7:
If you disbelieve in Allah swt, Allah swt is most rich He does not need you,Allah is able to replace you with a shakireen but if you are grateful then you will get Allahs pleasure.Allahs Ridhaaa which is better than paradise.we need to attain the Ridhaaa in different ways.
Surah Ibrahim Aya 7:
وَإِذْ تَأَذَّنَ رَبُّكُمْ لَئِن شَكَرْتُمْ لَأَزِيدَنَّكُمْ وَلَئِن كَفَرْتُمْ إِنَّ عَذَابِي لَشَدِيدٌ
And when your Lord made it known: If you are grateful, I would certainly give to you more, and if you are ungrateful, My chastisement is truly severe.
If you have Shukar ,th. In dunya Allah has promised more,better than what He has given,then you will get mazeed, more and more in this life,except for Shukar Allah says in the entire Quran that it is guaranteed.
Every other thing that Allah gives in Quran He associates it with restrictions or with Allahs will, with mashiyaa except the Shukar is always guaranteed for sure.
How to become a Shaqaar,as this is a higher degree than al Ridhaaa :

by making the duaa.,ask ya rabbi help me,don't put any obstacles,Allah has chosen you with this knowledge as He knows you can do it,
1)to purify the heart from the sins: before any worship of the heart we need to cleanse it from the sickness.for egs jealousy should be removed from heart,hasad makes u ungrateful,al Ujub having pride in yourself this leads to other sicknesses,takkabbur,arrogance ,kibar is in heart,this is a barrier from making Shukar .
2) Hayya Al Qalb ( make Heart Alive):
After extracting all this sicknesses from heart then make it alive.the person who does not realize the blessings of Allah so it is as if it's dead.so in order to bring it to life ,realizing the blessings.we must know about Allah swt ,about Ahsaan of Allah. By reading the Quran,we can make our heart alive,read every Aya,read it's meaning then have Shukar for Allah.every Aya is every blessing.Quran is filled with blessings all the ayaah, when Allah talks about Himself, about paradise,about he'll fire.also another way to alive ur heart,ponder upon the universe,it's signs the moon the sun.even the different situations that have happened to u, how u r making ibadas this Ramadan.
3)Being Extremely Sensitive to the Smallest Blessing:
This is being more practical : be sensitive towards the blessing, be very alert, don't leave even the smallest good deed done towards u ,remind urself that it is a blessing ,even when someone opens the door for u,or smiles at you, or gives you space in the class ,always appreciate the blessings from Allah swt.
4)Attribute this Blessing To Allah :
Any blessing that comes your way,attribute it to Allah swt.in your heart confess that all the blessings you have is from Allah swt,never attribute it to yourself.like qaanuutt,he had keepers to carry the key to his treasures,he said it is due to his own intelligence,attributed to himself.for egs even when someone praises you as a good cook, u claim that u go to classes, this is wrong.we should attribute to Allah as these are the means of the way you received the blessings.
all the above actions are lated to the heart but in order to be Shakaara,it needs to reflect on ur tongue,by saying Alhamdulilah
5) ALHAMD:
You will praise Allah swt with your tongue either general or specifically o the blessing .
6)You praise Allah for the blessing and also thank the person from whom you hottie blessing.
For egs you get a gift from someone then we should thank Allah and thank the person.prophet saws said that you should also give them a gift in return but if you cannot then say Jazakillahkhair.

Three types of Ridhaaa.( Riddhaa billlahh, in decree)
Also to be pleased with prophet saws.
Also to be pleased wz the legislations of Islam.
How to get this Ridhaaa , by knowing Allah swt, Al Muhsin, perfect in everything,then we will be content.
We can see around us ppl who are not pleased,why are these ppl not satisfied.due to the following reasons:
1) FORGETFULNESS :
They are forgetting Allah's blessings, they are focusing on what they don't have.for egs Allah has given you four healthy children but not ur own house so u are fretting about what u don't have.
When you have Ridhaaa always then you will always remember Allah's blessings whenever you see your heart getting annoyed or angry for something ur family member did not do, then immediately remember the other blessings, it will help in overcoming the negative emotions.
2) Musibaah:PEOPLE FOCUS ON THINGS THAT IS MISSING IN THEIR LIFE AND MAKE IT A GREAT MUSIBAH FOR THEMSELVES :
they make a great deal about the thing that they are missing in their life, they magnify the things that are missing as a huge matter of concern.one of the main reason is the culture and environment, this is a great factor that causes displeasure.For egs daughters wedding has to be done in this custom or that ritual as this is how we have been doing since our forefathers.so environment is a great influence on ppl leading them to be displeased and dissatisfied.
3)GREEDY :
Sometimes ppl want bigger house or bigger cars , as they get greedy! Ladies want their husbands to be perfect .or they want what is there in friends house.
Story of 99 :once in the olden days there was a king who was very unhappy,although he had everything in His kingdom.once his minister asked him why was he sad.the king explained that reason was his slave, a poor worker who always seemed happy and cheerful,the king wondered how could this person be so content and happy so that made him sad.the minister asked the king to give him 99 dinars and the minister kept the dinar outside the poor workers house.when the poor worker found that money he was so happy as he had never seen so much money in his life,then he made his family members count the money,they said it is 99 dinars,he said it cannot be it has to be hundred ,no one can give 99 may b the 1 dh has fallen outside.so he searched the entire night for one dh and cud not find it,so he was very sad,the next morning the king asked him why he was sad,so he relayed his story of 99 dh! So u see Greed is a big reason for misery, we must stay away from it.
4) IGNORANCE:
Sometimes in life we despair when we don't get what seems as a better opportunity for us,but we should not be sad as We do not have much knowledge,Allah has full perfect knowledge and He decrees what is best for us.for egs ,Some ppl feel sad when the husband does not get higher position out of ignorance as they do not know what is good for them,Allah has the perfect knowledge.
5) DESIRE AL HAWWA:
Don't desire so much to the extent that your desires will direct you,will be the cause of your happiness n sadness.should not make ur desires to judge u.this is siffat of munafiqeen,they will be happy when they get and will be sad if they did not get.remember the last part of duaa istikhaara where u r asking Allah to judge what is best for me, you ask Allah to help u in ur decisions,this will make you pleased.
So how will you be in Ridhaaa by remembering ur blessings,not make a musibah on urself, don't be greedy,don't be ignorant,don't let desires judge you.
Benefits: evidence from two Hadith
1)Omar RAvsaid all good in having Ridhaaa,all khair,if u don't have Ridhaaa then you should have patience.
2) jannat Al Allah ud Duniya is in Ridhaaa.the jannah in dunya is when we attain the pleasure of Allah swt. You will have saqeena and Allah will be pleased with u,Allahs Ridhaaa will be achieved.

Higher level ,more than Ridhaaa is Shukar,higher degree than Ridhaaa.Shukar is actually ibadat al qalb.Our goal should be to have As Shaqaaaraa ,in everything,every time,every moment.
Evidence from Quran
Aya 152 Surah Baqarah
فَاذْكُرُونِي أَذْكُرْكُمْ وَاشْكُرُوا لِي وَلَا تَكْفُرُونِ
Therefore remember Me, I will remember you, and be thankful to Me, and do not be ungrateful to Me.
ALLAH associated the Shukar with His remembrance,if you are not shaakireen then the person will be ungrateful..we should be filled with gratitude towards Allah swt always.
Surah Nisa Aya 147
مَّا يَفْعَلُ اللَّهُ بِعَذَابِكُمْ إِن شَكَرْتُمْ وَآمَنتُمْ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ شَاكِرًا عَلِيمًا
Why should Allah chastise you if you are grateful and believe? And Allah is the Multiplier of rewards, Knowing
Allah associated Shukar with believe, the more you have believe the more you will have Shukar.if human beings are ungrateful to Allah this means that they have less faith,then Allah will punish them.so Shukar is a barrier from Allahs anger.
Surah Luqman Aya 14
وَوَصَّيْنَا الْإِنسَانَ بِوَالِدَيْهِ حَمَلَتْهُ أُمُّهُ وَهْنًا عَلَىٰ وَهْنٍ وَفِصَالُهُ فِي عَامَيْنِ أَنِ اشْكُرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيْكَ إِلَيَّ الْمَصِيرُ
And We have enjoined man in respect of his parents-- his mother bears him with faintings upon faintings and his weaning takes two years-- saying: Be grateful to Me and to both your parents; to Me is the eventual coming.
Rights of Allah more than parents, first be grateful to Allah as eventually we have to return to Him.Subhanallah!
16: 78 Surah Nahal
وَاللَّهُ أَخْرَجَكُم مِّن بُطُونِ أُمَّهَاتِكُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ شَيْئًا وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُ السَّمْعَ وَالْأَبْصَارَ وَالْأَفْئِدَةَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ
And Allah has brought you forth from the wombs of your mothers-- you did not know anything-- and He gave you hearing and sight and hearts that you may give thanks.
When you are born u have knowledge, this is describing Allah's Ahsaan Al Aam on His creations.the main purpose of your creation is Shukar.
Sura Aaraf Aya 17
ثُمَّ لَآتِيَنَّهُم مِّن بَيْنِ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ وَعَنْ أَيْمَانِهِمْ وَعَن شَمَائِلِهِمْ وَلَا تَجِدُ أَكْثَرَهُمْ شَاكِرِينَ
Then I will certainly come to them from before them and from behind them, and from their right-hand side and from their left-hand side; and Thou shalt not find most of them thankful.
The shaytaan is the biggest enemy,he has a list of his plots to take them to hellfire ,one of his aim is to misguide you, another plot is to make human beings ungrateful.shaytan says he will attach human beings from every direction so that he can make them ungrateful to Allah swt.
Just few of Allahs slave are grateful, only the minority are the ones that are in gratitude .which means that majority of ppl are ungrateful .before DOJ prophet saws said that the believers will be like strangers or the odd ones as they will be in minority qalleeel.
Sometimes in life if you do not react in a situation,do not get angry are from the shaakireen,u will be called names, ppl will ridicule u call u mutawaa,or hijaabi,or oldie etc.
REWARDS OF A SHAAKIREEN :
SURAH ZUMAR AYA 7:
If you disbelieve in Allah swt, Allah swt is most rich He does not need you,Allah is able to replace you with a shakireen but if you are grateful then you will get Allahs pleasure.Allahs Ridhaaa which is better than paradise.we need to attain the Ridhaaa in different ways.
Surah Ibrahim Aya 7:
وَإِذْ تَأَذَّنَ رَبُّكُمْ لَئِن شَكَرْتُمْ لَأَزِيدَنَّكُمْ وَلَئِن كَفَرْتُمْ إِنَّ عَذَابِي لَشَدِيدٌ
And when your Lord made it known: If you are grateful, I would certainly give to you more, and if you are ungrateful, My chastisement is truly severe.
If you have Shukar ,th. In dunya Allah has promised more,better than what He has given,then you will get mazeed, more and more in this life,except for Shukar Allah says in the entire Quran that it is guaranteed.
Every other thing that Allah gives in Quran He associates it with restrictions or with Allahs will, with mashiyaa except the Shukar is always guaranteed for sure.
How to become a Shaqaar,as this is a higher degree than al Ridhaaa :

by making the duaa.,ask ya rabbi help me,don't put any obstacles,Allah has chosen you with this knowledge as He knows you can do it,
1)to purify the heart from the sins: before any worship of the heart we need to cleanse it from the sickness.for egs jealousy should be removed from heart,hasad makes u ungrateful,al Ujub having pride in yourself this leads to other sicknesses,takkabbur,arrogance ,kibar is in heart,this is a barrier from making Shukar .
2) Hayya Al Qalb ( make Heart Alive):
After extracting all this sicknesses from heart then make it alive.the person who does not realize the blessings of Allah so it is as if it's dead.so in order to bring it to life ,realizing the blessings.we must know about Allah swt ,about Ahsaan of Allah. By reading the Quran,we can make our heart alive,read every Aya,read it's meaning then have Shukar for Allah.every Aya is every blessing.Quran is filled with blessings all the ayaah, when Allah talks about Himself, about paradise,about he'll fire.also another way to alive ur heart,ponder upon the universe,it's signs the moon the sun.even the different situations that have happened to u, how u r making ibadas this Ramadan.
3)Being Extremely Sensitive to the Smallest Blessing:
This is being more practical : be sensitive towards the blessing, be very alert, don't leave even the smallest good deed done towards u ,remind urself that it is a blessing ,even when someone opens the door for u,or smiles at you, or gives you space in the class ,always appreciate the blessings from Allah swt.
4)Attribute this Blessing To Allah :
Any blessing that comes your way,attribute it to Allah swt.in your heart confess that all the blessings you have is from Allah swt,never attribute it to yourself.like qaanuutt,he had keepers to carry the key to his treasures,he said it is due to his own intelligence,attributed to himself.for egs even when someone praises you as a good cook, u claim that u go to classes, this is wrong.we should attribute to Allah as these are the means of the way you received the blessings.
all the above actions are lated to the heart but in order to be Shakaara,it needs to reflect on ur tongue,by saying Alhamdulilah
5) ALHAMD:
You will praise Allah swt with your tongue either general or specifically o the blessing .
6)You praise Allah for the blessing and also thank the person from whom you hottie blessing.
For egs you get a gift from someone then we should thank Allah and thank the person.prophet saws said that you should also give them a gift in return but if you cannot then say Jazakillahkhair.
Prophet saws said that if you are not grateful to ppl it is as though you are ungrateful to Allah swt.

The best time in life is when Allah opens the gates of obedience for u ,gates of knowledge for u, make it easy for u in ataa Allah.we will love Allah, always concerning in the morning day ,night then this is the characteristic of ppl of jannah.Allah will make ur heart empty so that u fill ur heart only with His love,all ur tongue will make only dhikar of Allah and ur limbs will do actions only to please Allah.our life will concern only to please Allah .the best time is Ramadan, so gather ur strength and renew ur faith.we will talk about qiyam,Taraweeh today.
I want to go faster on the siraat so I need to do more good deeds.do qiyaam, waiting for Ramadan by itself is Ibaadah,when u r waiting for forgiveness, longing for Ramadan, Allah sees what is in ur heart, if u r sincere Allah will make it easy to fast,read Quran,qiyaam will be easy.whenever Allah commands something it is for our good.
What will get if u establish qiyaam:
1) expiation of sins
2)siddiqeen and shuhadah
3) reward if you prayed with Imam in jamaa as though prayed the whole night.
4) if u read ten ayaat,then u will b removed from ghaafilin,100 ayat in devotees, 1000 ayat in complete salatal Layl then name in muqantar, multiple rewards.
5) Hadith Hasan Al Albaani:
Prophet saws said that when u are fasting, then the honor for u is qiyaam al Layl.if you stand qiyaam al Layl u will get honor.
6) Hadith hasan Al Albani :
When u sacrifice sleep in the night by establishing qiyaam in the night,then Allah will guard u in the morning from committing a sin. Allah will safe guard u from committing a sin during the day.
Also when u sacrifice ur rest,ur sleep,Allah will give u well being in ur body, u will stay healthy, u will be protected from sicknesses,u will be saved from heart problems.
Whenever u leave anything for the sake of Allah, then Allah will replace it with something better, when u deal with Allah u will always be a winner, Allah appreciates the smallest effort u do.
7)Sahih Al Albani : someone who sleeps in his sleep, in sujood,some person was overcome by sleep when establishing qiyaam,prophet saws said that then there is a discussion bet Allah and angels.Allah says that look at my slave ,his body is in front of Me and his Soul is with Allah.so Allah will tell the angels that write in the record books as though he is praying the whole night.Allah is so gentle,so caring so generous!
Record for my slave a reward for him as if he prayed and make his sleep a sadaqaa from Allah to slave.Ramadan is the month where Allah wants us to taste the sweetness of Ibaadah!
8) Qiyaam Al Layl is one way to attain Allahs love, if Allah loves you then every creation in the dunya will love u.there is a group that Allah loves them and Smiles at them.a person who has a comfortable bed, with ac but he leaves his sleep for Allahs sake!Allah loves the action of such a person.intention is very important, we need to work on ihtisaaban, as I m hoping for the reward, I need Protection from sins,expiation of sins, hope of rewards, love if Allah.that is the reason of ppl of jannah are in different levels, we always say renew yr intention, everyone is rewarded in a diff manner for attending Dars,what is ur intention based on that u will be rewarded differently, this is the way to expiate ur sins, to get love of Allah, always remember rewards from Allah.
9)hadith tirmidhi 1166 hassan Sahih : We must say Salaam, to spread love and earn hasanaat, this is sunnah to say Salaam to unknown.we must feed others for Allahs sake .and pray in the night when every one else is sleeping , then u will get Jannah safely, directly enter wout going to he'll.
10) Quran Surah sajdaa ayaah 16 :
Allah describes the condition of ppl who do the night prayer. These ppl forsake their sleep, in their hearts they invoke Allah with fear and hope only from Allah swt.the action of such ppl hearts are they fear Allah and hoping Allahs paradise, Allahs mercy and forgiveness.

11) Hadith 1165: sahihh Bukhari n Muslim: the messenger if Allah said ," when any one of u sleeps, Satan ties three knots at the back of his neck.he recites this incantation at every knot,you have a long night so sleep...
If u wake up smiling remembering Allah then u will wake up happy n active!
For the person who could not wake up in the morning as Satan urinates in the ear, but if u say bismillah and remember Allah then Satan will vomit.
We believe in the unseen,ghaib.
